Ultralight? No. Super Ultralight.

You're planning a trip in good weather and are tempted to leave your waterproof trousers at home. But what happens if weather turns awry?

Maybe you are going to take part in an adventure race like Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® where waterproof over-trousers are mandatory. How can you meet this rule so your speed is not affected?

The Astucas Acher Trousers are the answer. Made with an awesome 3 layer laminate, these trousers are not ultralight, but super ultralight.

It's not a fabric.
It's a hi-tech miracle.

The Acher Trousers are made from waterproof breathable Dyneema® Composite Fabric, one of the lightest waterproof/breathable materials available. An eVent membrane —the outdoor industry reference— is laminated between Dyneema® fibers for the greatest strength to weight ratio ever.

A streamlined design. Functional details.

We designed the Acher Trousers with simplicity and minimal weight in mind: a simple but effective pull-on style, no zippers and zero pockets.

However, we didn't go too far and retained a few but essential details:

  • A fully elasticated waistband keeps trousers where it should be.
  • By using a press-stud ankle adjustment you can get a close fit against footwear and regulate ventilation.
  • Needless to say, taped seams.
